Station Road, Harrow Town Centre

We were excited to hear that our client SRH Estates Limited secured a resolution to grant planning permission for a mixed-use development within Harrow Town Centre at London Borough of Harrow’s planning committee in December.

The development will replace the existing commercial units along the high street, and car park to the rear, to deliver three blocks between 3 and 9-storeys, comprising 63 residential units and Class E floorspace along Station Road and within the site, along with a landscaped podium, internal courtyard and associated works.

The development delivers much needed homes and investment within the highly sustainable (PTAL 6b) town centre, making more efficient use of underutilised brownfield land.

The scheme will be car-free (except for the provision of blue badge parking spaces) and will include a number of measures to promote active travel to the site.  The site is already conveniently located close to numerous amenities and local facilities.

Pulsar worked collaboratively with an excellent team, led by Avison Young on the planning side and Child Graddon Lewis Architects on the design side, from an early stage including provision of advice and submission of material to support a pre-application.  For the full planning application, Pulsar prepared a Transport Statement, a Framework Travel Plan, a Delivery and Servicing Plan and Construction Logistics Plan.
